Welcome to days 6 and 7. The next two days are for you to absorb, reflect on, and practice what has been introduced this week. We've laid the ground work for some exciting things to come. Our first week focused on self-awareness as the foundation of leadership. Whether you want to be an influential pioneer or a captivating performer, self-awareness is absolutely essential.
Feminine leadership is about bringing your whole self to what you do. In order to bring your whole self, you've got to be aware of your whole self. I want you to realize that all the different facets of your personality are designed to complement one another. That is where your unique power comes from. While this is a lifelong journey, it begins with the simple practice of strengthening your self-awareness and honoring all the qualities you bring to the table.
To be a confident and influential leader, you must first be aware of your thoughts, feelings, intentions, intuitions, wants and behaviors. Then you must be able to clearly communicate them to others, and align them with your goals. Next week, we'll be focusing on how to reveal your leadership to others. Feedback is a big part of this so consider inviting a friend to join you next week. They can sign up with this link, and will have access to all the past week's content.

more about burlesque
Yes, my parents know that I perform burlesque. I first told my mom and she said something to the effect of, "You crazy girl! Have fun and be careful." What followed was a family viewing of the film, A Wink and a Smile. The documentary introduces the Seattle burlesque scene and chronicles the journey of a group of women attending the Academy of Burlesque's 101 class. This was the same 6 week class that I attended, which kicked off my burlesque career. My family and I, yes dad too, sat around our Christmas tree one holiday season and watched the documentary together. Who doesn't love family movie time! I am so thrilled and blessed to have their loving support. It means the world to me.
